Back in the Saddle!

Well, in the last 7 weeks, I've traveled to Kansas City, Kansas (or Missouri), Fredricksburg, Virginia, outside of Steamboat, CO, Aruba (yes, the island 20 miles north of Venezuela) and we've moved out of our appt and into our house! WOW! Life has been fast, but I'm so ready to entrench myself in H Gallery once again! I think I've kicked this allergy thing since the wind has stopped blowing (well, for the most part) so life is good! I just got in 2 new backgrounds and 8 (yes, count them - 8!!!!!) new AMAZING chairs to use as props so I'm sooo pumped to try them all out! Stay tuned for details to come on H Gallery's GNO (girls night out) scheduled for June!!! It is going to be AWESOME this year! Enjoy the weather!

Matilda Jane show on Monday!

Just a little reminder that our Matilda Jane trunk show will be here at the studio on MONDAY, March 16th from 4-7:00p.m. Lisa has said that the spring line is awesome and there are more pieces for women than ever (yea!!!!!!)! See you soon!

Big Blues

Here is a sweetie I shot this month in the studio! He is a little guy that is just very content to do his own thing. After I had gotten all of the shots that I truly wanted, he looked at me and told me the shoot was over.... well, in his own words, but a leader in the making, I'm sure! With big, blue eyes like that, I'm thinking he is going to do all right!

March Madness!

I'm so excited about 2 events we have going on in the studio during the Month of March. On Saturday, March 7th, we are having our first ever 'Senior Facebook Day'. This event is for any Amarillo area current high school Juniors or Seniors. You call in and book your free 15 min. session here in the studio and you'll receive one free digital image of yourself! You can use it on facebook, myspace, twitter, your cell phone - all things digital. We are wanting to do some really fun, crazy stuff with a LOT of COLOR! We're asking everyone to bring fun props - just stuff that defines YOU! Bring sports stuff, cheer leading stuff, your art, your ipod, your car (yes, we could get a shot out front!) - just whatever you're into. We will have a makeup artist here for the day and you can utilize her only if you'd like to (no charge). We plan to use these fun images to help launch the Senior portion of our website! Obviously, the sessions are very limited so don't hesitate on reserving your time slot - 359-4504. An added bonus, if you book your Senior picture session with us the day of the event, you'll receive 1/2 off your sitting fee and 1/2 off your deposit - a sweet deal!
Our second happening in March is, YES, a 'Matilda Jane Trunk Show' on March 16th (Monday)! We've gotten such a great response from the last shows we've had that we just can't stop bringing them back! Plus, it sort of fills my urge to want to have my own clothing store (my husband says focus on one dream at a time!). Their children's clothes are SOOO CUTE and very unique. You just can't find these materials and cuts anywhere. They mainly have girl stuff, but usually have one or two things for boys as well as women. I've bought a couple of the outfits for me and LOVE them. So soft and nobody has my pants and I love that! There are a couple of images below from the MJ blog that shows some of the new line that we'll have here at the studio. The show is real informal - just come and go and you don't have to dress up to stop in! Feel free to bring your kids as well in case anybody wants to try something on. See you in March!

Happy Birthday, Dad!

OK, its not my dad's birthday, but it is this little mans father's b-day. J.T. and I are heading out to Peyton's surprise (shhhhh!!!) birthday tonight at Joe Taco. Good friends, good food - can't wait!!! Now what to wear???!!!???!!!
